I've had some comments asking about my multi-fabric sofa, (shown in my "blog header"). Years ago, I saw a chair with 4 fabrics and I fell in love with it.
I didn't buy it, the colors were too dark for me, but when it came time to do
something with this sofa, I remembered that chair!
For months I shopped for fabric, then I found the beautiful floral fabric! Over time, I began picking other fabrics that I felt worked together. I decided where I wanted each fabric and the upholsterer did the rest! The seat cushions are floral on one side (for spring and summer) and red on the other side (for fall and winter). Today I'm showing how I incorporate the color pink with my red sofa, and my multi-fabric sofa.

This shows both sofas. I had a small square table I covered with some extra
plaid fabric, and placed it behind the multi-fabric sofa. With a few spring/summer
accents, it all comes together. On the coffee table, I have a large book of
roses and a cherub holding a pink rose.

The large needlepoint pillow in the center of the red sofa picks up the
colors (including pinks) that are in the floral fabric on the other sofa.
The two round pillows look good on either sofa, I change them around often.

On the left of the room, I have floor to ceiling mirrors on the entire wall.
This is a small house with a small living area, the mirrored wall reflects
more light and gives the sense of more space. This picture shows one chair
and part of a small round table. I usually put this chair out for summer
and spring. The darling "little girl" pillow was made by Pat of Summersdarling.
